About the Club

The Club has been in existence since 1921. We are a small, friendly village club which provides the opportunity to play tennis both competitively and socially.

The courts are located at the Recreation Ground on Burcott Lane, Broughton (Click here for map).

We have 2 all-weather courts, which are both floodlit and a mini red court, with a practice wall. We are ideally suited to families, with a safe, enclosed grassy area next to the courts and the children's play area just across the field.

Subject to court usage for matches and coaching, members may play at any time up to 10pm (It is a condition of planning permission that floodlights must not be used after this time).
Members will be notified in advance of any pre-booked sessions, such as league matches and coaching.

The Club currently has a committee of 8 members which meets about 3 times a year, in addition to the AGM, which is held in March each year. The Committee is responsible for all aspects of the running of the club. All members are eligible to stand for a position on The Committee.

Club Nights

Club nights for adults of a reasonable playing standard run from April to October on Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm.

We also have Sunday afternoon picnics/BBQs/fun tournaments and cheese and wine evenings, where you can combine playing tennis with socialising with your fellow members and their families.

See social calendar for details.
